Purpose : to evaluate the impact of Optinol treatment on ocular surface state in medical students with various types ametropia. Material and methods . The study involved 3 groups patients: two clinical a control group. first group consisted 34 (68 eyes) mild, moderate or high hyperopia, averagely aged 20.1 ± 0.5 years. second 47 (94 myopia, average 20.6 0.9 was composed 60 (120 eyes), 21.4 1.2 years, no ophthalmic pathologies. Each received consecutively three different formulations: Optinol® Gentle Repair: dexpanthenol 2 % sodium hyaluronate 0.15 %, Deep Hydration: 0.4 Express Moisturizer: 0.21 %. case histories patients typical complaints were revealed by questionnaire method. eyelids conjunctiva assessed biomicroscopy. To diagnose dry eye syndrome (DES), special tests used: LIPKOF, Schirmer Norn tests.
